ADDICTION- NOT LIMITED TO DRUGS ALONE

The word addiction has always been perceived as a negative word, and is associated most of the times with substances such as alcohol and cigarettes. So, primarily, addiction is related to ecstasy inducing products. But hey! Addiction is everywhere. Look around you, at the surroundings, at other people who are not into alcohol and cigarettes; are they addicted? They are!

I have known many people who just wouldn’t get out of their bed without having ‘bed coffee’. Some cannot do their daily morning chores in the bathroom without a brush in their mouth and most importantly a newspaper in their hands. Girls are no exceptions to addictions, too. Girls have such a sugar tooth that they always want to feel ‘sugar high’. They eat lots of chocolates, ice creams and cakes. Want to hear the most interesting thing?? Well, addiction starts in a baby as young as a 1 day old. A baby is addicted to his mommy’s milk. The baby feels so good afterwards that he sleeps immediately and again wakes up, only to find himself wanting more of that heavenly drink. Look around closely and you’ll say “yeah addiction is in everyone”. Addiction is there in everybody- young and old.

Now, having proved addiction exists in some form or another in every person, is it possible to conclude that addiction is not bad after all?? The point I am trying to make here is that addiction is not always good. Confused?? Let me explain.
For everything there is a limit, a boundary, and if that boundary is crossed, it becomes dangerous. For example, people who just cannot live without chocolates and carry chocolates with them in their handbags (women) or in their pockets (men), face the risk of becoming fat and eventually threatening to become potentially obese. I shall call these people chocoholics or more generally, foodaholics. Similarly people who work a lot put themselves in great danger of having a nervous breakdown or getting stressed out. I call them workaholics. So many young couples are getting divorced early in their married life because there is no work-life balance. Likewise, you can add the suffix ‘aholic’ to almost everything that is done without limits. But the bottom line is, getting addicted to good things always brings good to you and getting addicted to ‘other’ things will make you end up in the hospital paying bills unnecessarily. Probably this whole article explains why the ancient saints, seers, prophets and philosophers asked us to practice ‘detachment’. Completely detaching oneself from the pleasures of life is highly improbable. But, all that we have to understand clearly is to know when and where to draw the line.

Remember, nobody can bring about a change in you unless you wish it yourself and willfully act for yourself. Change should come from within. I can only write and make people realize what they are doing. But it is wholly in their hands to try and turn into a new leaf. Change comes about slowly with constant determination. We are humans and not mechanical switches to turn ourselves on and off as and when we like. We are old enough to realize what is right and what is wrong and also take the correct decisions. Motivation is something that can inspire, and is always available in plenty, but to make decisions is in your own hands. Life can be fun if we all take the right decisions at the right time. Ahh... Life is so beautiful.

Origin of AIDS!

Hi crapaholics!

Well, what you gonna read now is not crap but something to thing about. Seriously interesting.

I was surfing the net the other day and I stumbled on some information..
What do you know about AIDS??
We all have been thinking that humans acquired AIDS induced by the HIV virus from chimps, right? I have to tell you that what I read the other day made me think.. and it almost convinced me to think that AIDS is a MAN-MADE disease! You think it is crap?? Wait till you read the next few lines...

A certain program called the Special Cancer Virus Program (SCVP) was carried out in the US, in early 1970s by some bio-engineers and it is them who had purposefully engineered and created a deadly virus- a mixture of viruses to be exact- to develop what we now know as HIV.

How did they start infecting humans??

They developed the virus and in the late 1970s they came out with vaccine to cure Hepattitis B. They asked the 'hated American minority community'-gays- to volunteer for this vaccination program and guess what? The first incidence of AIDS was reported among one of the gays in the year 1979 in Manhattan, US. It ain't a coincidence.

What does this tell us?
1. AIDS was first found in the Americans, contrary to the belief that AIDS originated in Africa.
2. AIDS could well be a disease(man made) to control population! In other words, the depopulation program.
Alarming!! Get more by searching/googling "Man made AIDS" or "AIDS genocide".

NORTH INDIA: JAMMU & KASHMIR

Jammu & Kashmir is the paradise on Earth, especially Kashmir. J&K is India's northernmost state. It shares the border with Pakistan and China's Tibetian plateau. The state is divided into 3 distinct places of attraction, namely Ladakh, Jammu, and the sloping, converging and truly mesmerising valleys of Kashmir. These three places offer the tourists a real feast to their senses with their wonderful lush green landscapes.
Kashmir with it's breathtaking views-forests,lakes and agricultural fields- will entice the tourists and compel them to stay and witness the architectural genius of God.

And there is Jammu with it's beautiful mountains and plains, has the magnificent looking shrine of Vaishno Devi. Hindus often go on a holy pilgrimage to this shrine. An estimate 3 million Indians visit the shrine during a year. It is advisable to visit the shrine between August and Novemeber when the crowd will be relatively less..
Then, there is Ladakh, which has many Buddhist monasteries can offer peace and tranquility to the tourists.

In today's metropolitan cities of the world, which is often plagued by pollution and other disturbances, the northernmost state of India can offer them with wonderful creations of God, and can leave them feeling totally at peace and completely rejuevinated! North India truly is a much sought after destination. J&K's beauty is still lovely and will ever be lovely, even if continous battle should take place between militants and the army.
Note: Some places in the state will require travel permits in order to visit them and explore :-)

Places Of Attraction:
1)Jammu 2)Kargil 3)Leh 4)Mulbekh 5)Srinagar 6)Gulmarg 7)Pahalgam 8) Southeast Ladakh 9)Rangdum 10)Suru Valley 11)Zarskar 12)Alchie Monastery 13)Shey 14)Hemis Monastery 15)Nubra Valley tour.

Come tomorrow and I shall give you the address of all the best hotels with other information on the above mentioned Places Of Attraction.
